The County Clerks Office provided the following services:

Financial: Maintains the Official Financial Records for the County.

County Board Proceedings: Any information about County Board Meetings can be obtained.

Election Information: Any information about past or current Elections can be obtained.

Marriage Licenses: 

    * You will need certified Birth Certificates

     *If either have been married before, you need your divorce papers from previous marriage, or death certificate

    *Must obtain License in the County you live in, the License can be used in any other Wisconsin County. 

    *If under 18 years of age, you will need parents consent.

   
*The License is valid for 30 days.

    * License Fee $75.00 

   
*If License is issued within one week of marriage, there will be a $5.00 waiver        fee, to avoid waiver fee come in at least one week before your wedding date

    * Both Bride and Groom must be present to apply for license

Forms are also available through this office.

The following items are needed to apply for a passport:

  • Two passport photographs
  • Certified copy of your birth certificate available from the county you were born in
  • Passport fee
  • Proof of identity
  • If name changed from birth, proof of how your name changed, ie. marriage certificate, court order, etc.
